Future Of Space Travel

spaceX bob doug

Are you ready for a brand-new era in human space flight?

Well, hop on board because it’s just begun!

Below are just a few advances in the future of space travel that we are developing.

August 2, 2020 – The Future of Space Travel Arrives

Bob and Doug return home from a successful voyage to the International Space Station, completing the first-ever privately chartered trip to space. During their time on the ISS, they conducted experiments, spacewalks, noted observations, took pictures, and lived life for two full months 250 miles above the Earth’s surface.

What’s next? In the short-term, NASA will focus on the Crew-1 Mission. For this, they will send four astronauts to the ISS aboard a SpaceX Dragon vehicle in September. Expect NASA astronauts Victor Glover, Mike Hopkins, and Shannon Walker to crew the mission. Japan’s Soichi Noguchi will also join.

Sometime in 2025 – Revisit the Moon

It’s time to get back to the moon! The last time feet walked upon the lunar surface was in 1972. Since then, there have been plenty of exploration, learning, and experiments conducted in space, but no one has traveled back to the moon.

Moon mission

In 2025, it’s going to happen again! What will this trip look like? One can only guess, but we imagine auto-bot rovers that drive around testing rocks, elements, and soil samples. We see men and women exploring the dark side and driving around in a brand-new Tesla. Perhaps even Starman will drop in to say hello. One thing is for sure, with 0.16 Gs on the lunar surface, there’s going to be a lot of space bouncing! Imagine weighing 100 pounds on Earth, and as soon as you get to the moon, you’ll only weigh sixteen pounds!

Coming Up in 2030 – MARS!

Is it possible that in just a few short years, people will land on Mars? Absolutely! By then, we should have enough time, proven test flights, and experience to land astronauts on the Martian surface. Think of the potential! Research parks, habitation zones, and scientific experiments galore! On Mars, someone who weighs 100 pounds on Earth will weigh a mere 38 pounds. That’s a lot of weight off!

Mars Landing Mission

Construction would sure be easier. You could carry incredibly heavy objects simply because the gravitational force is so small. Imagine picking up a 100-pound sack of cement or a pallet with 100 pounds of bricks, and it only feels like you’re lifting a bag of dog food!

ISS 2040 – Centrifugal Force Space Station

Can space get any cooler? It sure can!

Imagine, by 2040, a space station that can hold up to 1,000 people powered by an innovative centrifugal force system that creates artificial gravity.

How is this possible, you ask? Great question. An undertaking of this feat won’t be limited to one country. No, this will be the next generation International Space Station!

It will take a team of countries and organizations from all around the world working together to create this incredible R&R (research and recreation) facility space station.

space station

With the creation of this space station, the ability for indefinite living in outer space will finally be realized. With gravity mimicking that of Earth, space trips will no longer be limited based on the human need for gravity. What a thought!

ISS 2060 – Centrifugal Force Space City

Yes, you read that right. It’s a city, resort, amusement park, school, and laboratory all-in-one! This baby will house over 50,000 people of all ages and stages of life all year ‘round.

Think of this space station as the hottest destination in the solar system.

Earthship

Each level will have a different degree of gravity for the full outer space experience.

Feel like training like a pro? Visit level 5 where gravity is 1.15G. This means if you weigh 100 lbs on earth, you will weigh 115 on level 5. This will be great for pro sports training, and a great way to recover from long periods spent in lower gravity. Too much time spent in low gravity will weekend your body and bones.  Level 5 with 1.15G helps people recover and strengthen rapidly.

Level 5: 1.15G  for fitness and strength recovery

Level 4: 1G  same as on Earth

Level 3: 0.75G  R&R (research and recreation)

Level 2: 0.50G  R&R

Level 1: 0.25G  R&R

Level 0: ZERO-G  for spaceship docking.

Population In Space

Here are just a few projections we are excited to see take shape this century.

Population in Space by year:

2000: 3

2020: 7

2050: 50,000

2075: 5,000,000

2100: 15,000.000

Do you think that sounds out of this world?

It sure is!

It’s so far out it’s in outer space. Here at GalacticSpaceX, we think it’s possible for millions of people to live in space, lead active lives, embark on amazing discoveries, create new art, explore the edge of the galaxy, and make our wildest dreams come to life!

Do You Agree?
